Bio
When Ruby-Leigh isn’t penning the Henrietta March detective series, travelling the world for research or enjoying the Stratford-upon-Avon waterways upon a houseboat in the UK, she can be found photographing local wildlife or cooking up a storm in her kitchen with her rescue dog and cat sat at her feet waiting for something delicious to accidentally/on purpose fall off the counter.
Born into an academic family, Ruby-Leigh found she had more creative talents and developed her writing and journalistic skills. She writes articles on animal welfare and habitat issues under her ‘real’ name for numerous national periodicals. Her love of travel is shared with her followers through her detective who is often ‘sent’ to unravel animal related crime in her favourite countries. Through her writing she regularly contributors to a number of animal charities and conservation projects, plus children charities specialising on rare diseases; she is also a staunch supporter of anti-hunting and is against animal testing.
